Does veeam user a proprietary mechanism to convert VMDK to VHD when restoring VMWare backups to Azure native or it's using one of the PS functions mentioned in here -> https://lazyadmin.nl/it/convert-a-vmwar ... MDK%20file
We are looking to do a massive test restore to Azure, but have full control over when conversion takes place and when VMs are powered up in Azure. The idea is to have a few hundred VMs restored to Azure by Veeam to blob storage and run the convert process daily for a subset of VMs only needed for that day.
