Hello everyone
Thank you all for bringing the SureBackup exclusion feature. Since this feature is available, we can easily use it in our 2 data centers and at our customers' locations.
However, virtual machines deleted from Vcenter cannot be excluded. Only VMs that exist in Vcenter can be excluded.
This creates a difficulty in use. For example, a test machine was created and since we backed up the entire cluster, the VM was automatically backed up. We keep it immutable for 14 days. This test machine did not have an IP or VMware tools. Maybe the operating system was not even installed.
In this case, I cannot make the Surebackup task successful before 14 days have passed. Since I cannot exclude, the task constantly gives an error.
If we can also select exclude from Backups on the SureBackup Exclusion screen, this problem will be solved.
Or if an option like "Disable SureBackup for virtual machines not found in Vcenter" appears, it will also work.
Thank you.
